Open Source Developer Program

Informedia Technologies is offering a comprehensive training cum internship program covering - training in open source development methodologies, participating in open source communities, learning and honing skills needed for software development in general and open source development in particular.

The second batch of OSDP training-cum-internship program has been started. We are receiving an overwhelming response from enthused participants.

Freshers:

  • The last date for applying online for the program has been concluded on 31/January/2011. Candidates can still apply for open jobs mentioned on our careers page.
  • The online test scheduled previously has been canceled due to certian reasons. Instead we will be conducting personal interviews for all the candidates. The personal interview will be conducted between 07/Feb/2011 to 11/Feb/2011 at our office premises. The Interview details will be mailed to all the candidates shortly.
  • Short listed participants shall be intimated by 21/Feb/2011
  • The OSDP shall begin at Informedia Technologies on 03/Mar/2011

Students: (MCA/MTech/BE/BTech/BCA/BSc/MSc Students looking for final year projects.)

  • The last date for applying online has been concluded.
  • Applied candidates can expect a intimation mailer shortly with further details.
  • The student will be offered a set of tasks (open source projects) to work on.
  • The student shall be offered mentoring, guidance, occasional training sessions, validation
  • The completed project shall be made available on the internet as an open source project or contributed to the upstream project for inclusion in the project

The first program was conducted during November/December 2009 which launched the careers of more than a dozen open source developers.

Internship
